Stuff I've seen & some stuff I missed...

Wed. August 2nd...Sister K, Friend C and I met up @ the Continental Club. We hadn't planned on going to the bar but Sister K insisted that we meet up there and watch Miss Leslie & her Juke Jointers http://www.miss-leslie.com before we went to the movies to see "Pirates of the Caribbean-Dead Man's Chest". I thought both were ok...
Friday August 4th...Mom, Sister K and I went to Tumbleweed Texas http://www.tumbleweedtx.com/ to see Johnny Lee. http://www.johnnyleefanclub.com/ Eventhough it was the annual Urban Cowboy reunion, we managed to have a good time. I even got an autographed pic. lol By going to see Johnny, I missed Dale Watson www.dalewatson.com , Cory Morrow www.corymorrow.com , and Mike Mancy Band www.mikemancyband.com . Oh well, maybe next time.
Not much going on in and around Houstoned town this coming week...guess I'll just stay @ home and save money for the next big show, Jason Boland and the Stragglers www.thestragglers.com on August 18th and the horse track.
