Cooder Graw @ Armadillo Ballroom ~ Brazoria 11-11-06
I begged my Friend K who lives down @ Surfside Beach to go to see Cooder Graw with me this past Saturday night in Brazoria. She seemed to have a good time...I did anyway. It's not typically what Friend K listens to but she likes Cooder Graw. We had 1200 pics to take and we took only 100+ and she's going to send me a CD with all of the pics when she can. I'll be sure to post some of the better ones...I know there were a couple of pics taken of shoes/boots and tables/chairs but she'll delete those and only send the GOOD ones. I had my usual buzz going on so there was no headache involved and boy was I ever glad! ~woohoo~ I saw Friend R from Angleton and found out that he recently got married...can't remember her name but we've got a pic...lol Also pics of friends D & B dancing together and a cousin of theirs. Cooder Graw will be breaking up at the end of the year so if they come to your hometown, try to make it out to see them. Martindale will be doing his own thing but I'm unsure about the others...all I can do is hope they find something to do that earns them a living and makes them happy. These was a sparse crowd there that night and figure there'd have to be 300+ people to be there for you to even notice them. Johnny Law was there working the door and EVERYONE knows how I feel about him. "I ain't got nothing to say to Johnny Law, naw."
Back to the Cooder Graw show...light crowd but you could tell the ones that were there wanted to dance and I would've if I could've. I kinda think you have to have a partner to dance properly but I ain't that prim & proper type so get over it! At least I didn't jump on the stage with the band...anyway, come on out to see Cooder Graw this month and next if you can. I'm sure that they'll appreciate the support!
