Cooder Graw News...

Change comes with the New Year
Fellow Cooder "Buffalo" Nick Worley is leaving the band to continue his education and pursue other opportunities, effective at the end of January. Nick has been with us for over four years, through thick and thin, and has contributed greatly to the success we have enjoyed since his inclusion. We are sad to see him go, but are happy for him and wish him only the best in his future endeavors. It has been a pleasure to work with Nick (well, most of the time!) and a great honor to call him our friend, and to get to know his wonderful parents, Dave and Lynn Worley.
So Nick, thanks for four incredible years. You may be leaving the band, but you're our brother, and always will be. We fully expect to see you down the road.
Although there is never a good time for something like this to happen, the remaining members of Cooder Graw look at this as an opportunity for change and new committment. We look forward to 2006, and all the exciting goals we have set for this new year, including creating new music, working on a new album and a live DVD, making our live show better every night, and now, bringing in a new (as yet unnamed) member to the band.
A message from Nick Worley to the Cooder Nation:
For the last four years I have immensely enjoyed being a part of Cooder Graw. They have helped me to grow not only in my ability to make music, but have also enriched my personal life, and are like a family to me.
However, I feel that the time is right for me to leave the band to pursue other musical as well as academic endeavors. Before rumors and speculation begin, I would like to clarify that. Although I am not sure what the future holds, as of recently I have re-enrolled in college to further my study of music and have not yet committed to any other full time touring obligations. There is no ill will or hard feelings between the band and myself, and we will continue to support each other in the future.
I will miss the friends and fans I have made during my time with the Cooder Graw family. I have been blessed to work with such a great group of guys, and I would not trade the experience for anything. Thank you for your continued understanding and support.
Thanks Again,
“Buffalo” Nick Worley

Cooder Graw looking for new band member
The band currently has an opening for a full-time professional musician with his/her own equipment and is able to travel approximately 5 days a week. We are planning to audition fiddle players, steel guitar players, and keyboard/organ players (if you can do all three, you gotta job!). Should be prepared to "go to work" by February 2006. If interested, let us know as soon as possible by emailing the band...
