Eleven Hundred Springs, Jason Boland & Mike Mancy
Big fun was had at the Armadillo Palace on Friday night. I got to see Eleven Hundred Springs and a few of the members of the band graced my table with the presents. Nicest bunch of guys anybody would ever want to meet and their music was outstanding. Didn't see but one person that I knew there, Tracy H. What the hell was she doing out on a Friday night without the husband and kids???

I left from the Armadillo after the first set so that I could catch Jason Boland & the Stragglers over at the Firehouse Saloon. I got there about 5 minutes before he started. The place was packed elbow to asshole and full of drunks. WooHoo... I could get nowhere near the stage for the drunkards so I hung out by the merch booth for awhile. The crowd finally started to thin out a bit so I went upstairs to the balcony and hung out. I took a few pics also that I'll post later on. Although Stoney Larue was there, I missed the complete set but he did join Jason for a few songs...I think I took some pics. Not really sure. By then, I'd had a few beer myself. Needless to say, it was almost 6AM before I got home.

Saturday night, I went over to the Armadillo Palace again and saw Mike Mancy Band. They sounded great and were rocking and rollin'. Ran into Angie "turtle" there... I left after the first set because I was worn out from the night before. Check them out if they're ever in your part of the world.
